We are now hiring Field System Engineers! This is a home based position with extensive travel throughout North America and occasional travel to Europe and the Caribbean. Quiet, professional home-office is required.

Our engineers provide on-site and remote services for the Solarwinds Orion Product suite. Our services include installation, configuration, optimization and support.

Industries: Computer/IT Services

• 3 years hands on network and server administration for medium to large business.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, including routing, switching and firewalls.
• Familiar with Cisco IOS, CCNA is a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 & 2008, MCSA is a plus.
• Understanding of SNMP, SNMP Traps and Syslog
• Knowledge of SQL administration and transact-SQL queries is a plus.
• Previous trainer experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel 75% (15 days per month target)
• Ability to be on-call nights and weekends for remote support.
• Must have access to a major airport and reliable high-speed Internet connection.
